Early May. There are more hours of sunlight now. The days are growing longer.
The sun is circling towards the summer solstice. The longest daylight day of the year 2014 will be Wednesday, June 21. In the northern latitudes there will be as much as 14 to 15 hours of daylight. How are you going to spend those extra hours? Mowing the lawn, summer softball games and riverside picnics, tending the soil, smelling the flowers, yoga in the park? Time for last winters dreams and goals and plans? What of those plans?
The days are getting longer. Now, early May is the time to make a plan how you will spend those extra summer hours. Not for just more work, the same treadmill, the same old routine, the stress, the hectic schedule, the frantic overloaded daily grind.
Make some time for you, separate from the workday shuffle.
The sun is setting.
What did you get done for yourself today?
